CarinForSharon: Update November 2, 2017

Sharon, our beloved dorm Mom, soccer Mom, and actual Mom, is sick - she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in late 2016. Over the last months, she has undergone a number of different treatment protocols. After completing her most recent protocol, although her doctor initially thought she was in remission, her cancer came back aggressively and in different forms. Due to her weakened condition from the recent treatment protocols, she is not able to re-engage the desired conventional protocols available in Taiwan for 3 to 6 months. However, because of the speed with which the cancer is moving, she can't wait for her body to recover to take action. This blog is setup to keep you up to date on how Sharon is doing.

Update November 2, 2017

Sharon met a lady from China who has the same type of cancer as she has and is doing really well now. In just three weeks it looks like this woman is close to being in remission. She visits Sharon every day to give her encouragement.

Fund Raising

Hello everyone - we are going to pause fund raising for now. We raised our goal amount and then some due to everyone's generous giving to the McGills - thank you all so very much!

We won't know the total owed for some time as the medical system processes the bills from Sharon's stay at the hospital. Your gifts have been a huge encouragement and blessing to the McGills and have helped ease their financial burden through this difficult time. Thank you again...
